Tarangire was our first place to stop on our safari. It did not disappoint. It's abundance of wildlife and proximity to Arusha and Kilimanjaro makes it great for a quick trip. We were also lucky to see four of the big five on day 1 (Elephant, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard).
