Fremantle, WA, Australia

March 2014

I was in WA for work and decided to stay the weekend to see what Fremantle had to offer. Fremantle is only 20km from Perth and bounded by the Indian Ocean and the Swan River. We got to see a bit of everything in the day and half we had, but most of the locations we visited on the second day we didn't have time to do in depth.

Stay
Esplanade Hotel Fremantle
Its run down and tired but in a prime position in the heart of town

Eat
Ipho for Vietnamese

Moore & Moore

Char Char Bull Steakhouse

Ootong & Lincoln for breakfast or brunch

Little Creatures for a drink and lunch

Run Amuk for Hotdogs

Do
Check out the Fremantle Markets

Take a day trip to Rottnest Island - this was definitely a highlight of our trip

Run the foreshore

Walk the streets and soak in some history
